PRODUCTS & WEBSITES

AIRI Lab (opens in a new tab)

AI tools for architects and enterprise teams. I build the backend around generation: subscriptions, add-on credits, and getting results back to users.

A little more about my part
  • Credits that add up. Membership and add-on usage, with quota returned when a generation fails.
  • Requests that don’t wait. Async generation with Redis state, WebSocket notifications, and an API to retrieve results. I also moved shared concurrency tracking out of in-memory maps.
  • Connecting the pieces. User and account APIs, membership fixes, OEM integrations, and generation providers including Nano Banana, Kling, Runway, and Midjourney.

Luvino (opens in a new tab)

A home for a designer’s work. I built the frontend and backend, then deployed the site on Cloudflare Pages.

Hi, I’m Shihas.

I’m Shihas Backer, a backend engineer who likes knowing how all the pieces fit. At AIRI Lab, I focus on the backend. For Luvino and my recent loci features, I build across the frontend and backend.

I use AI agents to help build frontend features, and I like taking an idea through debugging, integration, and deployment to something people can use.

Let’s talk about it.

A product, a tricky problem, or a good idea.
